VALENTINE CRAFTS FOR PRESCHOOLERS
Do you love Valentine’s Day as much as I do? If so, you will want to dive into this roundup of adorable Valentine crafts for preschoolers ASAP!
No need to spend time searching Pinterest for fun Valentine’s Day themed crafts for your children—I’ve done all the legwork for you!
I chose the crafts based on age level, ease, and, of course, cuteness. I also favored projects that require a limited number of supplies and/or make use of things you probably already have on hand.
Without further ado, let’s get those kiddos crafting!
IN THIS ARTICLE:
1. Puppy Valentine Crafts for Preschoolers
First up is a sweet Valentine puppy craft. With the spots on its ears, this puppy looks a little like Pebbles the Dane, don’t you think?
The project is easy enough for preschoolers to make, and it only requires a few supplies: some construction paper, glue, scissors, and a black marker. Follow the link below for instructions and a free template.

2. Cute paper plate valentine dinosaur craft
These Valentine dinosaurs are so adorable, and the kiddos will have a blast making them.
This is another craft that requires very little in the way of supplies, and the tutorial includes instructions to make either a stegosaurus or an apatosaurus (or both!).
Head on over to https://todayscreativeideas.com/paper-plate-dinosaurs/ to get your kids started on this Valentine dino fun today.
3. Pepperoni Pizza Valentine Craft for Kids
Wow, people are so clever! I would have never thought to make a Valentine pepperoni pizza, but I’m glad someone did!
Like the dinosaur craft above, this Valentine pizza project makes use of paper plates. Additionally, you’ll need some red, yellow, and white paper, brown and red paint, scissors, and glue.
You can find the full tutorial at https://www.craftymorning.com/paper-plate-pepperoni-pizza-valentine-craft/ .
4. Toilet Paper Roll Love Bugs
When it comes to Valentine crafts for preschoolers, these love bugs are perhaps my favorite!
I don’t know if it’s the googly eyes, the pom-pom noses, the heart-shaped antennae, or the combination of them all, but I am just swooning over these cute little buggers!
If you have some of the optional supplies recommended in the tutorial like glitter glue, washi tape, or stickers, your kids can really get creative with these cuties.

5. Toilet Paper Roll Binoculars
The second toilet paper roll craft in this roundup are these sweet, heart-shaped binoculars.
This project gets bonus points since the kids can use the binoculars for exploring and imaginary play long after the crafting activity is done.
The binoculars are cute as is, but as with the lovebugs project above, they could be embellished with glitter, stickers, and the like if you have those items on hand.
And if you’re wondering how in the world you’re going to be able to mold the toilet paper rolls into heart-shapes, don’t worry—it isn’t as tricky as it may seem.
Check out https://happilyevermom.com/heart-shaped-binoculars-valentines-day/ for instructions.
6. Paper Penguin Valentine crafts for Preschoolers
Aren’t these Valentine penguins positively precious?!
And the only supplies needed to make them are some paper, a white crayon, scissors, and a glue stick. Easy peasy!

7. Valentine’s Day Heart People
There is something about googly eyes that adds an extra ounce of whimsy and cuteness to any craft project. Case in point, these Valentine’s day heart people.
Like most of the projects listed here, this craft requires only a few supplies that you probably already have.
I like the idea of using a button, pom-pom, or whatever you may have on hand at the moment for the nose (A Cheerio just popped into my head, which brings to mind pasta art. I think I may have just come up with my next crafting blog idea…).

8. Toilet Paper Roll Valentine Mouse
Here is another opportunity to repurpose those empty toilet paper rolls; this time, to turn them into cute Valentine’s Day mice.
As far as Valentine crafts for preschoolers go, this one is really simple. And, the only supplies needed are googly eyes, white and red paper, scissors, glue, and heart stickers in addition to the paper rolls.

9. Handprint Heart Tree Craft for Preschoolers
I love a good handprint craft. They’re not only fun for the kids to make, but they serve as a memento of that time in their young little lives.
The 3-dimensional aspect of the hearts take this Valentine tree craft to the next level. And, as the author suggests, it would make a perfect card for Valentine’s day or even Mother’s Day or Grandparents Day.

15. Rainbow Paper Heart Pom-Pom Wreath
The use of rainbow colors vs. the traditional Valentine’s Day colors of red, white, and pink is a nice surprise and makes this wreath so cheerful.
The pom-pom is a nice touch, but the wreath would still be pretty without it if you don’t want to purchase a pom-pom making tool.

16. Butterfly Valentine Crafts for Preschoolers

18. Heart Dinosaur Craft Project for Kids
This is one of the funniest pieces on my list of Valentine crafts for preschoolers.
